Running and Writing

Movement and Creativity are the Same

There’s something about the rhythmic movement of running, feeling the sun shine down, listening to the wind blowing through the trees, and feeling my body in all it’s glory, is one of the greatest contributors to my creative life. Running clears the mind, opening me up to the deeper, more universal realms of the world, that place where ideas come from.

For a year, I had the privilege of writing for the now-defunct writing site, RunHaven. The editors at RunHaven allowed me to write about things in running that were important to me, whether it was practical advice for runners or describing my experiences as a runner. Collected below is a sample of these articles.
